Sunday 13th May 2012: Aberdaron tour

A sunny morning, so a coastal tour was in order, across the Brittania Bridge, through Caernarvon, Morfa Nefyn, and down to remote Aberdaron, a tiny village seemingly at the end of the world! Here is the bridge leading into the tiny hamlet
The Cafe there is incredibly old, being used as an eating place since 1300 odd!
Here is its name plaque
the walls are incredibly thisk, look at this window
As you will gather this cooker is no longer in use!
We had Coronation Chicken Baked potatoes, which were really good, then walked to the deserted sea front.
the wind was very cold so we went back into the village, this is a general view
Then we continued down the coast to Abersoch, Pwhelli and stopped at Criccieth for a Cadwalladers ice cream, expensive, but delicious! We sat on the sea front to enjoy it
We drove home in glorious sunshine, getting back late afternoon, the weather changed to high winds and heavy rain during the evening, but at least it had been great while we were out!
