11th June 2008 Down to the Lleyn peninsula!

This morning we were up earlier than usual and managed to be on the road by 8:45 AM. This meant that the timings of the journey across the Pennines and round Manchester worked out very well and we missed the peak tidal flows.
We didn't meet any real delays till after Conway, and that was due to a long section with a coned off outside lane where they were renewing the Armco barrier on the central reservation.
We are on great little site, for the moment on our own, but it will fill up by the weekend. We got set up in bright sunshine, and just as the lady owner started to tell us it hadn't rained for the last three weeks, the rain began!
After the 240 mile journey we had an easy afternoon, then took a spin down the coast to Pwhelli and Llanbedrog. Today's pictures are of the Marina and estuary at Pwhelli, and the beach at LLanbedrog respectively
