I went for a look at the various bays, despite the fog warning still sounding, and found that Thornwick Bay and the North Landing were still wreathed in mist, but the Lighthouse Landing was already cleared, so I took the very steep path and steps down to the beach.
I took a couple of shots of the lighthouse itself before heading for the footpath to the beach
After lunch we decided to take a trip to North Landing as the fog horns had stopped, and we were reluctant to pack up and go home with the weather so nice! first a panoramic, then some detail shots.
And on the way back we popped into Thornwick Bay and parked near the cafe, the paths now are not only too steep for us, but look quite slippery too!
