9th September 2009:Home for some things

It was time to make a journey home to check the mail and do some shopping, so we decided to make a day of it by going home via the back roads. we stopped at silpho brow and I took these photos, before we continued home'
On the way back we decided to stop at the fimber log cabin and just before there I spotted this view.
We had a delicious slice of their curd cheesecake,travelling a couple more miles before stopping to have a cuppa and the cheesecake and I spotted the next view over the still standing crop of barley
And while doing so nearly got run over by a heavily laden tractor with a trailer brimming with grain.

Refreshed we then drove the rest of the way back to the caravan, since it was 4 PM by then we lazed about till tea!
