Tuesday 18th May Last day in Anglesey, South Stack

Our last day on the island was taken up with quite a bit of shopping, but we did manage to fit in a visit to the South Stack area to photograph the lighthouse, and walking down the steep path on the cliff that looks out onto the headland, I spotted these fine flowers growing either side of the path

From this ledge you get a great view of the lighthouse on its island, when we were forty years younger we actually walked down the 200 odd steps and crossed the suspension bridge to visit the lighthouse
